The magnificent Stamford Park Homestead was built in 1882 by the entrepreneurial Row family as a Gentlemans Residence. After many years of neglect the homestead and six acres of grounds have been sympathetically restored, allowing it to once again become the ‘jewel in Knox City’.
Stamford Parks current owners, Jason M Jones & Brahman Perera have waved their ‘whimsical’ magic of both design and true hospitality over the beautiful estate and it is now a stunning property comprising courtyard café, restaurant and events spaces.
Our central courtyard cafe & beer garden is a more casual, relaxed area overlooking the chooks and our market garden – perfect for a jug of spring punch, brunch, a gourmet pie, the dogs and the kids. Open every day 9am – 3pm weather permitting. No bookings are necessary.
Our dining rooms and our beautiful gabled verandahs are just a little bit posher and the perfect setting to enjoy chef Leo Howard’s, garden inspired seasonal menu. Serving breakfast and brunch 9am ’til midday and lunch from midday ’til 4pm every day. Menu
High tea is also available on our verandahs and dining rooms every day – 24 hours notice is required and bookings are essential. Perfect for bridal or baby showers or just treating yourself! Menu
Friday and Saturday nights we throw open the doors for beautiful candlelit dinners – a unique experience showcasing the beautiful homestead in all its glory and chef, Leo Howards creativity at its peak.
Our private dining rooms are available all week for breakfasts, lunch, dinners and everything in between – seating from 8 to 60 guests.
The “Little Sparrow” seating up to 12 guests
The “Emmeline” seating up to 42 guests
We are so excited to see the homestead and its beautiful grounds once again being used as was first intended – a place of social gatherings, parties & celebrations.
We love it here and hope you do too!
